The starting point for Paradisa is a Lego poster I had on my wall in my childhood bedroom that shows a tropical resort.  The video is a re-enactment of imaginations spurred by the poster and delves into childhood perception of luxury and desire.  Stereotypes of adult love clash with bizarre tableaus all to the soundtrack of a looping section of the Sade song “Paradise,” which I listened to frequently as a kid.

The video contains photographs I took of the Lego poster, my own recorded video, as well as found images, video and audio recordings.
